"The Panda Party"
This turned out to be so much fun!
Here's the cake-
(It's a Wilton mini cake... it turned out so cute!)
(Thanks Tara for letting me borrow the pan)

We found some fun writing...
and gave each child their own bamboo!

The table center was a bamboo plant
(we are lucky enought to have these growing wild all over our neighborhood)
And of course you can't go wrong with chopsticks, chinese take out boxes, fortune cookies, and lots of goodies.
And Feed the Panda (Pin the tail on the donkey)Turned out to be a great success- all the kids wanted to do it again and again.
More Bamboo-
Here's our panda invitations:
(underneath the panda- is the invitation)
We did the limbo-with a bamboo stick
Played Musical chairs
We would have had chinese food- but didn't think 4 yr olds would like that
You could also do an obstacle course
Breaking boards- balsa wood
Chinese lanterns are cute too
We also had a coloring contest- every artist draws pandas
FUN!

Soooooo cute Kim! What a cute idea. I bet the kids loved it. You are just so creative! Love ya!
you have more creativity in your pinkie then I do in my whole body
Found your site through 30 days. I just love your quiet books as I've been wanting to make something similar for quite a while. (but I think your pages are more creative than what I had in my head) As I was scrolling down your posts I ran across this one and I just love the idea of a panda party. I wanted to offer a suggestion about the Chinese food and 4 year olds: we get sweet and sour chicken only we call it chicken nuggets with dipping sauce. Now my kids are hooked.
